FAMILY INVOLVEMENT
A State of Mind Counseling and Wellness Centers recognizes
addiction as a family disease; the addiction not only affects the
chemically dependent individual but also affects each person in the
family. Therefore, family involvement is an essential part of the
recovery process for individuals suffering from chemical dependency.
Each clients treatment plan includes family therapy. This is a special
time for family healing along with assisting families to break the
silence of the addiction and develop healthier communication and coping
skills.
